Hi and welcome! For those of you who don’t know me well, I’m Chari (pronounced Sha-ree), and I’m a cartoonist. I try to use my cartoon “powers” for good: from creating coloring books for kids with Diabetes, to comics about miscarriages, to graphic novels about bully prevention.
This year has been pretty challenging for all of us. I created my “Corona Mama” comic series as a way for stressed-out parents like myself to tackle pandemic parenting through humor. Laughter has been the #1 way for me to cope with everything that 2020 has thrown my way, and I try to create fun, relatable content to help others feel seen.
Chanukah is the Festival of Lights, and my goal for this year’s holiday is to add as much light as possible! So I officially declared Chanukah 2020 to be PUN-ukah, and I created a Chanukah PUN Pack of activity sheets and coloring pages. I didn’t have a lot of time (in fact, I created this entire packet within 24 hours), but it was important for me to let loose and have PUN making it!
